Toolbars, toolbars, toolbars
It seems that every search engine has a toolbar. There's the Yahoo toolbar, Google toolbar, MSN, Ask Jeeves, eBay, etc. etc. etc.
I think these toolbars are useful but if you have too many of them, your screen gets cluttered. This morning, I uninstalled all of my toolbars except for my favorite -- the Yahoo one (came out a winner thanks to their spyware scanning button).
Which toolbar is your favorite? How many do you have installed?

The only toolbar I have is a google toolbar, partly because when you search on google (using the built in one or not), you can highlight the keywords on the pages you visit from the search, which can be useful if your looking for specific text on a large webpage.

I use the Google toolbar. I just like the popup blocker in it and the fast search engine. It is the only one we are allowed to use on our network at work also.

I have only the Yahoo toolbar installed. My pc is so old and derilect that I am afraid running more that Yahoo would kill it entirely. Besides, Yahoo's tool bar actually follows instructions when teaching it not block certain pop-up's. Most of the other's are worse than trying to toilet train a 4 year old boy. Defiant as heck.

JP jarl, you should be able to uninstall toolbars through the control panel (Start Menu > Control Panel, then Add/Remove programs, find the toolbar name in the list).

I only have one and I really like it.
Google. Blocks 90% of all pop ups.

I use whichever tool bar pops up! Your right, I need to choose a provider, just like with the phone companies. They all seem to be very good so it's hard to pick!

There's a wonderful website http://www.searchthingy.com/search.asp
that has length, wieght and area conversions as well as a search engine that searches up to 10 engines at once including google yahoo and alta vista. Forget annoying toolbars!

I am a researcher, most of the time I came accros words I don't normally see or understands. When that happens my favorit site to visit is dictionary.com. The toolbar they offer is pretty straight forward and easy to use. Plus you get the option to translate the word to whatever language your researching at the moment.

I have no extra toolbars. There is no need for extra "space eaters" on screen. Because I have made many folders to Favorites, I can fast reach the most important links. The Spyware Scanners and Virus Scanners are in their own folder on the Desktop

I prefer Google Toolbar, due to addblock and the fact that it can calculate and off course, I use google very often

We have 2 toolbars installed. IncrediBar, I'm a hopeless "computer decorator"-always changing my desktops, browser skins etc, anything with a skin/theme actually; Yahoo - used mainly for accessing "My Groups". We keep these x'd off for the most part and only show them when we need them :)

i'm proud and happy to announce that i don't have ANY toolbar! in fact, for the 7+ years i'm using the internet, i didn't have a single one! (in my opinion theyr'e useless and only commercials for their publishers)
