Using WS_FTP (a case study)

Excerpt from a WS_FTP case study:

"Kentucky-based Vivid Impact Corporation has earned a solid reputation for producing top-quality, high-definition graphic printing jobs—from give-away coupons for national fast-food chains such as KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut to technical manuals for heavy-machinery manufacturers. Seeking an advantage in an increasingly competitive business, Vivid looked for a more convenient and cost-effective way to transfer materials such as logos, advertisement slicks and high-definition graphics to and from customers as opposed to using overnight mail, UPS or couriers. WS_FTP Server and WS_FTP Professional proved to be the answer."

I develop software for several clients. I would like each of them to have WS_FTP installed so that we could transfer files via my FTP site. What is the easiest way for me to get FTP installed at each of my clients? I don't want to just tell them to get it and keep it up.

Hi Chuck,

I think that there is a way to do a "silent install" over a network, but I'm not exactly sure how to do this. Your best bet is to ask the Ipswitch sales rep for your area (or a reseller in your area) the best way to do this. This page has contact info: http://www.ipswitch.com/company/contact/index.asp
