Help! The files I transferred are corrupted!

If you find yourself saying this, you probably transferred a binary file in ASCII mode. Doing this can damage the file.

ASCII mode is for transferring text files (which include HTML files). Binary is for most other file types (graphics, music, etc.).

If you're not sure what mode to use, select the 'Auto' option.
