Directory Info / DirInfo
In WS_FTP, you can get a nice summary of a directory's information using the Directory Info button (in older versions of WS_FTP, this is called 'DirInfo')
Simply click the button and a text file pops up that contains information on the directory you are in. Very helpful if, for example, you wanted to take notes on what a particular file is or if you wanted to take a snapshot of a directory for your reference.
If the Directory Info button doesn't show for you, add it in the command bar (the toolbar that sites in the local or remote view and has the 'change folder' and 'new folder' options). You can add it by clicking the little down arrow to the right of the command bar, then clicking 'add or remove buttons' and selecting the 'Command Bar >' option. Finally, click the check box next to 'Directory Info' to add the button.
