What's the largest file you ever uploaded?

I've uploaded files in the 400 - 500MB range, though I don't recall the exact sizes. With FTP, uploading files of this size is a breeze (though, I'll admit that I always worry I'll lose my internet connection during the transfer)!

What's the largest file you ever uploaded? Leave a comment and let us know.

Hi Van,

Hmm... Last month I uploaded and downloaded 5GB worth of files through the Accellion SFTA (secure file transfer appliance) because my chief of engineering told me that I can upload/download more than 10GB in one go.

It was a chore to create a folder containing 5GB of data. So, I figured that 5GB was as good of a place to start as any.

The cool thing is that I was able to pause the upload half way through when my IT guy told me that he needed to have a look at my machine.

(Between you and me, it was a slow afternoon and I was not feeling productive.)

Thought you like to know.

Warm regards, YFJ
