Secure FTP
In response to yesterday's post, Randy asks: "Is there a reason why the HOME edition doesn't support Secure FTP?"
WS_FTP Home has some security features (FTPS and SSL) but the Professional version has additional security features (SFTP, SSH and HTTPS).
So, why less security in the Home version? WS_FTP Home provides more of the basic FTP features and many of the advanced features (including SFTP) are additional and exclusive benefits of the Professional version.

I am running IPSWITCH WS-FTP HOME currently. I am okay with it but just curious as to what else is out there. Thanks
