I transfer files, almost, on a daily basis (during the seasons)....I have one web site that I volunteered for one at http://members.shaw.ca/vernontigers/index.html and an other at http://members.shaw.ca/vernonfranchise/index.html (which will be undergoing renovations this season) and my first web site (for my family) at http://members.shaw.ca/pdbeugeling/index.html (which I will be completely redoing in the near future...

I FTP several times a day since I am the webmaster for a local veterinary practice.

I am a web developer and during the last weeks, because I just finished a website, I have used a FTP program to upload parts of it on server even three or four times a day. Between such events I am using FTP just to download software from the Internet, let's say, about 2-3 times a week.

Like Valentin I'm also a web developer. I'm currently working on several websites so I'll be transfering small chunks between 50-100 times a day at the moment.
When I'm not working on websites then this will drop to a couple of transfers a day.

I use FTP atleast once a week, some weeks several more times. If I'm doing some updating of web pages, I can be on it for a whole week a few hours a day for a week.

I use ftp approximately 15-20 times a day! Between my day job and my freelance design and writing...and my website... and my file server...
When I'm heavily involved in working on a new site or a redsign project it can be as many as 100 times per day. But, that's not the standard for me.

In my work I must ftp files between Unix computers and windows computers several times a day. Ftp is the only practical way to easily transfer perhaps hundreds of files at a time, some ascii some binary. The transfers go both ways.
In my spare time I am a web developer and, like the other web developers, this can be ftp intensive, easily 50 to 100 transfers per day.

Daily, at least a few times per day most days. I maintain and update several websites.

I only use ftp as a picture hosting site, so my useage is limited to the frequency of my Ebay ads. I'm certain there are other uses for ftp, but I'm not techy enough to know what they are!

Average using FTP once a day.

I volunteer for a Hurricane Katrina planning company and try to keep my tansfers to 3 times a day. I am currently using an older version of FTP (WS_FTP) so a newer version would be a great help to my work load.

I never tried another FTP-package but use WS-FTP since I started discovering the internet in 1996. Guess I'm to lazy for that and very satisfied about WS-FTP. Meanwhile I FTP more than 50 times a day to run my internet-one-man-business.
Not everything has to change on the internet, I stick with WS-FTP.
Kind regards, Jan

I am department webmaster, and I have my own pages where I post material for my students, so I FTP nearly every day, using WS_FTP Pro. I don't know how you can improve on that product, but I'll be waiting to see!

I upload and download files everyday. I have my own domain and personal poetry web page. As a matter of fact I use WS FTP LE and love it. So easy to use.
Thanks.

I FTP daily. I still use my free copy of the WS
_FTP Ifswitch (sp). It is the ONLY program I've evre been able to use no matter how many I've tried. And I've tried many !
It is so simple and easy to use and everything is right there for you to see at all times. I can edit so easy on it. So I stick to the Ifswitch WS_FTP.

I am a retired computing center director ... on a a busman's holiday! I enjoy writing programs and creating web sites. My latest vernture is a golf handicapping site that I seem to always be tweaking. I usually use FTP (Home) about once a week. It is a marvelous piece of software ... I have never had a problem with it.

I use FTP nearly every day. I belong to a small group that builds models for MIcrosoft Train Simulator. We are building a Route, and need to get our various contributions out to each other. So, we send our work to a central server (I think that is what it is called, anyway a site) and then all can go there and download the work of other parties, and add their own.

At home I WS_FTP 2-3 times a month to post a church newsletter. At work, I WS_FTP 10-15 times a day to move programs in and out of AIX.

FTP-PRO/2007 is used once or two times a day to keep several web-pages up-to-date. The web-pages that require a daily update are to maintain a portfolio with stocks. That process is semi-automated for the most part. I use a batch-file to prepare the files that have to be uploaded and it also starts automatically the WSFTP-program to present the subwindow with the local files and the window of the FTP-site where the files are to go.

I post almost every week on this homepage, which is owned by my church. My own hompage is http:/www.mmedia.is/thorhrod/. There I post only occasionally. I purchased WS_FTP-PRO Version 762.2002.12.18, which I did test some. But as I was used to the WS_FTP95LE in my educational work, I turned to it again and am still using it, although I am retired. I hope that I may us it, because I have got the licence for the PRO one.
With your new version I understand that one can view the contents, which must be a great help for those who are working with complex pages, but my needs are simple.

Sometimes I FTP updates to a site as much as 20 times in a day, and sometimes go a few days without using it at all. I have used the WS_FTP LE version for at least six years because its simple and free, yet still gets the job done.
