Encrypted transfers

Did you know that the WS_FTP Professional file transfer client lets you transfer files over FTP, SSL and SSH protocols?

The benefit of using SSL or SSH is that they automatically encrypt communications during file transfer to ensure the secure transport of your files between two locations.

Configuring a new SSL or SSH connections from WS_FTP Professional is very easy. Simply click the "Connection Wizard" icon. Choose your connection type from the dropdown menu (in this case, choose SSL or SSH) .... then simply enter the server address and your username/password and click finish. It's important to note that the server you are connecting to must accept SSL and SSH transfers.
