Services

Blogger.com: All of the basics for building a blog are included in Google's blog service. Easy posting, a number of templates to choose from, FTP access, syndication and a comments system. Blogger.com is a free service.

Tripod Blog Builder: Create your own blog at Lycos' popular Tripod site. With many of the same features as Blogger.com, the Tripod Blog Builder comes with your Tripod site (many plans available, including a free one).

TypePad: With three different user levels (Basic, Plus and Pro), TypePad is essentially customizable for your needs. All versions include easy authoring, comment and trackback systems, photo albums (works great with ACDSee with WS_FTP PhotoMover) and archiving. A free trial is available.
