Uploading a picture of your auction item is easy when you use WS_FTP Pro.  For many, the FTP process is new.  It is with this understanding we've created an online reference guide specifically for online auction users.  Step-by-step, we show you how to get WS_FTP Pro onto your computer and use it to upload the picture(s) of your auction item(s).

Step 1. Downloading WS_FTP Pro - It's fast and easy!

Step 2. Installing WS_FTP - After downloading the WS_FTP Pro installation file, you'll need to install the application on your computer.  

Step 3. Finding web space - To upload a picture for use with an online auction, you'll need a secure storage space on the Internet.  Online auctions, such as eBay, are not a repository for these files (you don't actually "upload" your image files to the auction site).

Step 4. Converting your picture into a computer file - There are multiple ways to achieve this task.  Choose the method that's right for you.

Step 5. Uploading your image to the Internet - You've followed all of the above steps and are now ready to use WS_FTP to upload your image to the web space you have secured.

Step 6. Fill out the online auction registration form (eBay) - Don't forget, the auction site needs to know the location URL of your image file so they can post it on their web site.[_includes/bottom_nav.htm]
