FTP Tip of the Week:
In WS_FTP Pro, you can schedule file transfers to take
place at a certain
time or to reoccur every hour, day, week or month.
First, make sure you are
connected to your FTP site. Right click on the
file you want to transfer
and select 'Send to Queue'. The Queue Utility
Window will open. Select
your 'Destination Directory' by clicking on the
'...' button to browse. Set
the scheduling options by clicking on the 'Options'
tab. When you're
finished, click 'OK' and your transfer is scheduled.
Do you have a good FTP tip? Send us your tips
and we'll feature them in the
FTPplanet.com Newsletter. Send tips to webmaster@FTPplanet.com

This simple game site is well laid-out and easy to
navigate. It's perfect
for people who aren't really hard-core gamers but
wouldn't mind playing a
few games, especially if they're free!
Freegames.org has your standard '/pub/ directory off
of the root. From
there, you find a list of games sorted into
directories by theme. You'll
find a decent list of game categories that include
'/action/, '/arcade',
'/card','/educational', '/sport', and many others.
There is a 'message.msg' file off the route but I
couldn't get it to open.
You won't find any index files in the subdirectories
but you'll be able to
figure out most of the file names.
There are definitely bigger game FTP sites out there,
but the easy
navigation and the simplicity of the site makes it a
winner.
