FTP Tip of the Week:
In both WS_FTP Pro and LE you can search an FTP
directory by masking the
visible files. On the right-hand side of each pane,
you see a series of
buttons and one empty rectangular box. While viewing a
directory, place your
cursor in this box and type your mask criteria using
an asterisk (*) for
undefined criteria. For example: to search for
all MP3 files you'd type
'*.mp3' and to search for all file names that have
'IE' in their name, you'd
type '*IE*'. An empty box will default to '*' or 'show
everything'.

When it comes to entertainment, you can never go wrong
with George Lucas.
The Lucas Arts FTP site is an extension of the Lucas
Arts game division.
Although not as extensive as other FTP sites, you'll
find the site full of
great game demos, patches, and video clips.
If you're an avid player of Lucas Arts games you might
want to first check
out the '/patches' directory. There you'll find
patches to Darkforces,
Monkey Island, and many other favorites. If you're
looking to add some great
games to your collection, go to the '/demos' directory
for playable demos of
over 25 great games.
The site has no 'readme' files so it's a little
difficult to identify which
game is which. But the one thing about Lucas
Arts is no matter which game
you download, it's bound to a good one.
