Featured FTP Tip: 'Sorting Columns'
In WS_FTP you can sort each column -- in your local
and remote systems -- by
clicking the header of the column. Clicking the
header once will sort the
column in one direction, while clicking the same
column again will sort in
the opposite direction.
This is very useful as it allows you to group files by
date, type, size, or

The IRS FTP site can really help you out this tax
season. Allowing you to
get instant access to virtually any tax form, the site
is both convenient
and, in some cases, life saving.
When logging into the site, you must first enter the
'/pub' directory. You
will then want the '/irs-pdf' folder, which contains
Adobe Acrobat versions
of tax forms (if you don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader
you can download if
from ftp.ftpplanet.com).
This directory is very well organized and tax forms
are labeled by their
corresponding number. There is also a very helpful
'index' file that lists
each form and its use.
