Did you know you can use your favorite HTML program to
edit your Web pages
right in WS_FTP?
It's easy, all you have to do is change your default
program for 'viewing' from
Notepad to your HTML editor within WS_FTP. This
is done in 'Options' under
the 'General' tab. Simply change the path for
your 'Text Viewer' by clicking on
the 'Browse' button and locating the executable (.exe)
of your HTML editor.
Once you've added the path to your HTML editor, click
'Okay'. The next time you
choose to 'View' or 'Edit' a file, WS_FTP will open
the file in your HTML editor.
Besides being free, one of the best things about 1st
Page (or First Page) is that it's for
everyone who creates Web pages; HTML rookies and
certified Webmasters alike.
First of all, the program has four different operating
modes: Easy, Expert, Hardcore,
and Normal. Each mode has an adjusted interface
with appropriate functionality and
