FEATURED TIP: Directory browsing made
easy!
With the new WS_FTP Pro 7.0, browsing
your Local or Remote Systems has
never been easier. Simply click the new browser
button that has been added
to the interface and you'll find quick and easy
navigation for both your
Local and Remote Systems.
The browser button is labeled with
three dots (...) and is located to the right of
the Directory Display Field -- directly above the
ChgDir button -- for both
the Local and Remote Systems. Clicking on this
button will give you typical
Windows navigation for the Local System (Desktop,
drive letters, network,
etc.) and easy site navigation for your Remote
System.

Review by Adam Green -- a
FTPplanet.com contributor.
"Arachnophilia is an excellent
tool for someone who understands a bit
about html coding. It's particular strength is the
way it allows you
to create button bars to insert chunks of coding
ready-made. ASP
programmers could find this very helpful.
It is not WYSIWYG by default - you
build up the code and then flash to
preview. If you know what you're doing it's great.
People wanting more
features may do well to look at 1st Page Express.
But Arachnophilia's unique feature is
that it's 'careware' - you get it
for free - but read the conditions before you settle
for it - you take
on a commitment to care when you use this very good
product."

SITE NEWS
With all the recent fluctuations in
the .com world, it's no surprise that the
FTPplanet.com list of free Web hosts and free access
providers could quickly
become out-of-date. Many of the free hosts and
providers have started charging for
their services; have merged with another company; or
have simply folded.
Since so many of you asked for it, I
took the time update our lists so they
would be more helpful. Check out the lists; see who
is still there and who has
disappeared.

Survey Results: 'How many active
e-mail accounts do you have?'
As I suspected, almost all of you
have more than one e-mail account.
