FEATURED TIP: Setting default local and remote folders
When connecting to your Website or a favorite FTP
site, do you always go
through the same routine of first locating the correct
folder on your local
system and then the correct folder on the remote
system? Wouldn't it be
great if every time you made your connection, WS_FTP
would go right to these
folders automatically? Well, you can do this with both
WS_FTP Pro and WS_FTP
LE and it couldn't be easier.
The next time you connect to your site with WS_FTP, go
to the desired
folders on both the local and remote systems and then
click on the 'Options'
button. In the 'Options' Window there is a large
button that reads, "Save
Current Folders as Connection Folders". Click
this button. The next time
you make this connection, WS_FTP will go right to
these folders.
"Pros: small; easy to use; nice, fast, simple
software; good sound;
big display. Cons: Poor battery life; fragile; cheap
supplied headphones;
some models skip on songs; 32MB is split into two 16MB
partitions; non
standard port.
Overall, a nice little player which has done me very
well. Its nice and easy
to install with the only issues being displayed above.
The supplied headphones were the quality of a 99c shop
whereas SONYs
(modified to fit the 2.5mm jack on the player)
realized the true sound. The
other modification I made to fix the battery life was
to set in with a razor
knife and adapted it to fit a AA battery which gives
me a 10 hour life.
Those AAA batteries were starting to eat at my bank
account when they lasted
only an hour.
One other point: there are two versions, one which had
trouble with errors
in MP3's and one, like mine, which don't. So be sure
that it has a 7 day
money back guarantee on it so you can test it
out."
