FTP TIP: What Is That 'DirInfo'
Button?
The 'DirInfo'
button is used for easily compiling a list
of the files in a directory.
It is
very helpful if you want to analyze the structure
of your Web site or if
you want to
browse a directory when you're not online.
Simply use WS_FTP to navigate to the
directory you want a listing for and
click the 'DirInfo' button. This will open
your default text editor (such
as Notepad) with all the directory
information entered.You can then save
the file, edit
the information, or copy and paste the
information into another

Bandwidth is a
little small but can you get free web
space (15mb),
Perl/PHP
scripts, MYSQL, full DNS
management via a central web
page (www.domaincontroller.com),
sub domains
(support.yourwebsite.com),
domain hosting (get your own
.com/net/org/etc
domain and host it there for free), free
email
redirection
and the best of all, no banners -- all for $free!!!
Try that
on the other
free hosting services.
No, I
don't work for them, it's just that I
happen to like the service
too much. So
if you want a free web hosting service
with everything
included,
choose Portland!!!"
