--> FTP Tip: Folder Summary
In WS_FTP, you can easily see a content summary for
any
folder. Simply navigate to the folder of your choice
and look at the bottom of the folder window (either
remote of local). You will see summary information,
such as number of objects in the folder and total
file size.
This feature is very convenient when determining if
you have enough web space at your FTP site for all
of the files that you want to upload. Particularly
useful if you are uploading a number of digital
photos within a folder.

This week, we are featuring Sierra's FTP site. Sierra
is the company behind such classic games as King's
Quest and Space Quest. While their focus is different
nowadays, they still make some great games. Visit

ftp site for game demos and other goodies.

Password: Anonymous (or your e-mail address)
Port: 21 (the FTP default)
