--> Audio FTP Tip: Podcasting and FTP permissions
Yes, you read that right, we have an audio tip this
week.
Ipswitch, the company that develops WS_FTP, has
started
a blog on their Web site. As part of this blog,
Ipswitch
has posted their very first podcast. For those that
don't
know, a blog is similar to an online journal.

The concept of podcasting takes a bit to get used to.
If
you're interested, type "podcast" or "podcasting" into
your favorite search engine (which is probably Google,
according to a recent FTPplanet survey).
At any rate, on with the tip. This podcast/audio tip
is announced by none other than Ipswitch's own David
Ferrick and can be downloaded from Ipswitch's Web
site at http://blogs.ipswitch.com/podcast/
Simply click the "Download the podcast here" link to
download the MP3 audio tip, which provides a brief
explanation of FTP permissions. The MP3 can be loaded
onto your favorite MP3 player or listened to using
your media player of choice.

With so many different ways to promote your Web site,
