Creating a Shortcut
for an FTP Site Profile
With WS_FTP, all the information needed to establish a connection with an FTP server
(URL, User ID, Password, etc.), is stored in an FTP site 'Profile'.
These 'Profiles' are saved within your WS_FTP directory and
are used every time you use WS_FTP to connect to an FTP
site. This tutorial
teaches you how to create Desktop shortcuts to these FTP
site 'Profiles', allowing you to launch WS_FTP and
connect to your favorite FTP sites from a single icon.
