We are now ready to open the WS_FTP Pro Synchronize Utility. In the WS_FTP Pro dialog, click on Tools in the toolbar and select Synchronize.

The main dialog of the Synchronize Utility will appear. This dialog displays the configuration options and settings for your synchronize job. Each ‘job’ can be saved to a control file so that it can be accessed any time you use the Synchronize Utility.

Let’s create a new control file by first selecting the locations of the local and remote folders that we want to synchronize. In the Synchronize Utility dialog, click on the browse(…) button to the right of Location1.

The Folder selection dialog appears. Click on the Local tab and browse to the directory where you downloaded the folder, WS_FTPSynch. Select the folder by clicking on the folder name once and clicking the OK button. The path to the folder should now appear under Location1.
